About Us

Sweet Home Ranch is located in the Sierra Foothills of Auburn, California.  We have lived in Auburn for twenty-three years and our family is active in the local 4-H program.  Our semi-arid climate is ideal for raising Boer goats because Boers are able to tolerate long, hot summers and our mild winters minimize most of the management problems associated with raising livestock in colder, wetter climates.  We have found that the Sierra foothills is prime...
